We Have Peace AND Snow!

After months of struggling with the snow gods, we are finally blessed with a wonderful winter storm here in Killington, VT

How Much Snow DO We Need?

Frustrated with the current snow amounts, we headed over to the South aside to see how much more snow we really have...and how much we really need.

Merry Christmas from Me & Vespi!

Vespi and I spent a solitary morning in the shop, so we took the opportunity to play in the snow on the lawn out front...

A Black & White Morning

Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday season...
and a very, very Happy Winter!!

Christmas Snow!!

As we wake up in Killington VT this morning, Snow Meiser can claim victory over his brother with our first true winter storm!

Conquering SBD

As I sit in the shop this beautiful December morning, the door is open, my flip flops are on...and I keep peeling off layers because it's so warm outside

And So Winter Begins...We Hope

This Wednesday marks the true commencement of winter, the longest day of the year - with the shortest amount of sunlight.

Single Digit Bonfire

What a wonderful way to spend a clear starry night in mid-December ...outside under the stars at a huge bonfire with old friends and new ...Just don't step too far away from the fire!

Frost on my Window

What a relief to walk up this morning to a beautiful layer of frost on my windows! With temps hovering in the single digits today, a deep breathe of fresh air chilled my insides all the way to my lungs. So crisp and clear...such a beautiful day to celebrate living in the mountains of Vermont!!

May You Find the Spirit of the Mountains Within You,

And the rain, rain, rain came down, down, down...

The horrible rainy-ness of the past 24 hours gave way to yet another opportunity for our kick-ass snowmaking crew to once again save the day!!

PPPPPPPacked Powder!!

After two months of torture from Mother Nature, winter finally lasts more than a week for us in Killington!!

Monday Funday!!

Met up with the crew on the mountain after work...

What a FemaleSkiBum Wants

As the holidays roll around and I watch person after person stroll through the shop with their lists in hand, I have begun to wonder what a FemaleSkiBum would want to find underneath her tree...

If you weren't here, you missed it :)

What a silky natural snow settled on the mountain...

...And then I took a nap.

Sometimes, you get caught up in the excitement of an upcoming powder day.

My Big Girl Skis: Blizzard Black Pearl

I woke up this morning totally traumatised by the number of days between the last time I had gone skiing until today - Wednesday was five days ago!

Gotta Go Where There's Snow

If I am going to go for a walk in the fall and there is snow anywhere close to my vicinity, that's where I am going.

Sneaking in a Tour

Sometimes, you just have to sneak in a run not matter what the conditions have been...and realize that at least you'll get some fresh air and be a better skier by the end of the day...
