Hawthorne's Snow Image
What a wonderful short story that captures the beauty of a fresh powder day. A little boy an girl had outside into the freshly fallen snow to create their own image, a young lady made of frosty snow. Somehow, the magic of the snow fall brings to life this beautiful snow sister, but the cold hard reasoning of the father figure cannot open his mind enough to understand the wintery magic.
This is not just a wonderful short story for young snow lovers, but of reminder of the snow's magic for their mom's and Dad's s well. It brought a smile to my face and was a wonderful way to end this hyper inflated powder day. A reminder that, no matter the inches or feet, no matter how many lifts are open or closed, that any snow is magical :)
It's free on iBooks and kindle right now...
