Climb On: Betsy's Balcony

First Day of Ice Climbing for the Season! 

Beautiful Day with temperatures over 32 degrees!  Which was awesome for the climbing, but made the snowshoe quite a workout  :)  A two foot square mound of snow fell into my arms, right at the crux of the pillar, but my beginner self still managed up with a little help from my friends.  Warm temps made for wet fronts and mittens, but nice warm smiles!  Even the puppies all had fun! 

I love the feeling of my axes in the ice!  My third day ever of ice climbing was awesome!!
